Dr. Huwaida Elfnayesh is a graduate from the School of Law at Tripoli University in Libya, where she also obtained her first master’s degree in Commercial Law. After completing her master’s, Dr. Huwaida remained at Tripoli University to work as an adjunct lecturer in Commercial Law. In June 2010, she left Libya to continue her studies abroad and went on to earn her second master’s degree in Corporate Governance from the School of Law at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, USA. After graduating with honors, Dr. Huwaida completed her Doctor of Juridical Sciences in Corporate Law from the School of Law at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.
Dr. Huwaida is a part of our Consultations Department at Tumi Law Firm, and she advises many clients with respect to compliance matters regarding their businesses in Libya, including corporate governance, private placement of shares, IPOs, bankruptcy, liquidation of corporate entities and commercial agencies, copyrights, trademarks, and patent franchising.
In addition to Arabic, Dr. Huwaida speaks English fluently.
