Mr. Jasem Tunsi focuses his practice on advisory and contentious matters involving cross-border elements. He has extensive experience advising and assisting national and multinational companies and institutional investors in their different transactions. Mr. Jasem additionally advises in litigation and arbitration proceedings, addressing Libyan law before foreign venues and foreign laws before Libyan courts and arbitral panels. He also focuses on commercial and corporate structuring and re-structuring of investments and businesses in Libya and abroad.
Mr. Jasem is a graduate from the School of Law at Tripoli University and has been a member of the Libyan Bar Association since 2001. He also holds a Master of Laws degree from the University of Bologna in Italy. Mr. Jasem was a trainee at Tumi Law Firm before his pursuit of postgraduate education and his work with various multinational companies, institutional investors, and international and national law firms.
